By the end of PHAZE 1, you’ll create smooth sky gradients. You will learn how to setup an airbrush practice that explores color mixing through abstract gradients that prepares you for the next PHAZE or your airbrush journey. My airbrushing adventure began when I was eight years old. I was a curious kid growing up in Hong Kong, obsessed with learning about art of all kinds. When I saw an airbrush used in a behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of Star Wars, it ignited a lifelong passion in me. With inspiration and guidance from a great art teacher and library books about airbrushing, I learned to use the tool for modeling. Dreaming of a Hollywood career in airbrushing, I diligently honed my skills and never quit. Forty years later I am the goto talent for airbrushed FX tattoos in Hollywood and beyond.

I have turned airbrushing into a Practice, much like a Yoga Practice or a martial art. I use the airbrush to express my art in many different forms. From sophisticated airbrush tattoos to airbrushing apparel, footwear and even fine and decorative art, airbrushing is an art form that represents many mediums and techniques. This platform is dedicated to the exploration of all these areas of interest.
Decorative art is such an amazing way to begin your airbrush journey. Whether it’s to build positive mental health activities or a superpower for gift giving, airbrushing art is a world of discovery. I have enhanced the experience by sprinkling Zen techniques throughout the platform. This informs a positive art practice that can continue for a lifetime.

I have been the leading Special FX tattoo artist wielding an airbrush in Hollywood for the past 15 years. I am a unicorn in my field, the only one at my level. As I prepare to retire, I realize there will be a Grace shaped hole in the industry that must be filled. That’s why I have created a pathway for other makeup artists to take the torch and fill my shoes, giving me the opportunity to continue expanding the possibilities for airbrush artistry into the 21st century.
